At Saveology.com, he spearheaded initiatives to adopt "Cloud Computing" through the use of Salesforce.com and Heroku.com, decreasing internal development costs by 50 percent and increasing call center efficiency by 30 percent. Newman also worked at 1800flowers.com, as Director of E-Commerce, and was responsible for building out an e-commerce SOA platform for the company's multi-channel operations, including consumer facing, point-of-sale, and call center distribution channels.
