Grace Parke Fremlin, President, Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer of Barsily International Ltd., is an international finance lawyer specializing in international project finance, corporate finance, IP monetization, and "greenfields" startup investments. She has lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Previously, Ms. Fremlin was an equity partner of global law firms K&L Gates LLP, Steptoe & Johnson LLP, Foley & Lardner LLP, and Graham & James LLP. She founded and led Asia Client Practice for Foley & Lardner LLP, and founded and co-led the Korea Client Practice at Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Global companies have entrusted her with the establishment of their US and Asian business ventures and have been guided by her as lead counsel and trusted advisor. Ms. Fremlin attended Harvard Law School, University of Virginia Law School and George Washington University.
Robert A. Barsily, Chairman of Barsily International Ltd, is a Wall Street banker specializing in international project and acquisition finance. Over the past 40 years, he has successfully closed countless financings for startups, growth companies, acquirers and projects in over 20 countries, five continents, and multiple industries. He has worked in New York, Geneva, and London. Previously, he was the Partner in charge of Corporate Finance Group for Edward A. Viner & Co., NYSE Member Company; a Corporate Finance Specialist with Shearson; and an Investment Advisor with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Barsily attended New York University, Graduate School of Business, and University of Bridgeport.
