Crystal is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She is the Associate Director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Crystal graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor's in psychology, sociology, and a minor in behavioral pharmacology. She worked in large systems, government organizations and served families and communities who experienced chronic social justice challenges prior to completing a Masters in Psychological Counseling from Monmouth University and a Post-master's in Professional Counseling and Family Therapy at Seton Hall University.
Crystal's work within large systems led her to pursue training as a relational systems therapist and human systems thought leader. Her previous work includes working for the Department of Veterans Affairs supporting veterans, active-duty service members and their families with wellness, readjustment, career support and finding meaning beyond service time. Crystal has worked in various settings to include grass roots organizations, child protective services, substance abuse, hospitals, managed care, K-12, private practice, providing trauma informed- care, sexual assault, and higher education where she currently teaches in graduate mental health and counselor education programs.
Crystal is enthusiastic about supporting individuals in finding meaning, purpose, service and identifying and building resources to develop their communities. She utilizes systems approaches, social determinants of health, consideration of broader societal issues and barriersthat impact student learning, their sense of belonging and acceptance of self and within their communities. Crystal integrates knowledge and passion of cultural humility, Internal Family Systems, CBT, existential and person-centered approaches, Yoga, resilience-based models, spirituality, advocacy, social justice, ability to heal, movement and honors the unique worldview and experiences of students, their peers, families, and communities. Crystal can relate to the student experience as she is actively completing a doctorate degree in counselor education where she hopes to impact systemic change, equitable access to quality mental health resources and integration of mental health first aid to sustain communities. She is trained in mental health first aid and engaged in the process of becoming a mental health first aid instructor. Fitness, health, spirituality, and emotional health are at the cornerstone of her approach to supporting whole health. Crystal is a certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher and believes movement and silence are vital elements in supporting wellbeing, healing, and recovery. She seeks to support systemic change to improve student learning, remove barriers to equitable care and provide leadership to a growing community of emerging student leaders.

Dr. Brooke Zall-Crawford graduated from Rowan University with her Ed. S in School Psychology and received her Psy.D in School psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2001. After working as a School psychologist for 14 years, Dr. Zall-Crawford became a NJ Licensed psychologist in 2008. Throughout her career Dr. Zall-Crawford has been involved in providing psychodiagnostics assessments, therapy, and programming to individuals from preschool through adulthood, with special interest in adolescence and young adulthood. She has worked in various settings throughout her career and has provided services to individuals with a variety of concerns including autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression and learning disorders.

Kramer Hall is home to Stockton's M.A. in Counseling and M.S. in Data Science & Strategic Analytics.
Kristen received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from Syracuse University and a Master of Science degree in Health Education from Saint Joseph's University. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist with eight years' experience in public health as a Health Educator/Risk Communicator and has been trained to respond to disease outbreaks, natural and man-made disasters. Once a trainer, she now continues to be a volunteer for the Atlantic County Medical Reserve Corps. Additionally, she has extensive training and experience in serving and advocating for special needs populations.
Kristen is certified in Mental Health First Aid, Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) suicide awareness, opioid overdose prevention training and is a trainer for Training for Intervention ProdedureS (TIPS) which is an alcohol awareness and intervention certification for students. As a Certified Health Education Specialist, Kristen helps to support the Wellness Center by developing a variety of programs relevant to students' health needs and trains students to recognize alcohol misuse while providing them with intervention skills through the TIPS certification program. She is the supervisor for the Wellness Peer Education program in which she certifies students through the NASPA Certified Peer Education (CPE) program and assists them with presentations, marketing/promotion of events and other wellness programming. Her goal at Stockton University is meet the following strategic priorities; to cultivate a safe and healthy learning environment, promote students' sense of belonging, engagement and development and strengthen student success strategies, resources and impact.

Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a therapeutic focus on trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ issues, and disordered eating. She also provides counseling to students who struggle academically and/or socially. Laura works closely with the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Center (WGSC) as the liaison counselor and is a trained sexual assault/Title IX victim's advocate. She runs a number of support groups in the Counseling Center for women and for trans* students. In 2018, she successfully held Stockton's first clothing swap for our transitioning student population.
Laura strongly believes in individualized treatment and therefore uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including CBT, Person (client) centered, Solution Focused, DBT, and Strength/systems perspective. Laura has a passion for helping people find the tools that they need to be their personal best. One of Laura's favorite quotes, from a world class woman, Maya Angelou is "when you know better…. you can do better."

Lucy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University in 2009 and her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2013. Lucy started her social work career as an Education Counselor for individuals with psychiatric disabilities in higher education. Upon completing her MSW, Lucy worked for 5 years as a child/adolescent outpatient therapist providing individual and group counseling. Lucy has worked as a trauma therapist following natural disasters, traumatic events and school shootings. Additionally, Lucy has provided tele-therapy for several years and is well versed in the use of technology for increasing accessibility to therapy.
Lucy offers a person centered, strengths-based approach with students and enjoys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and Mindfulness tools. She strives to be empathetic and understanding with all of her students. Areas of professional interest include individual therapy, groups, anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulties with transitions and adjusting to new situations, interpersonal relationship challenges and multicultural/diversity concerns.

Michael is licensed as a Professional Counselor and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Tara works directly with the HTMS faculty and students to help coordinate their required internships for the program, maintaining their paperwork, retaining relationships with current employers, and establishing new contacts for internships.
Tara is a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCADC) and a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT). Tara is a supervisor for the Residential Life Recovery Housing program and the advisor for Stockton Sober Ospreys, a student organization with a mission to promote a healthy sober lifestyle. Tara provides individual counseling to students and leads weekly support groups, which focus on sober curiosity and recovery.
Tara received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of the Arts in 2008 and a master's degree in Drama Therapy from New York University in 2011. Tara began her career as a Creative Arts Therapist working with children and families impacted by interpersonal violence. Prior to her appointment at Stockton, Tara worked for 4 years as a primary counselor at a substance abuse treatment center in NJ, where she supported individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns within a partial care and intensive outpatient recovery program.
Tara offers a whole person, strength-based approach to students, integrating her training in Creative Arts Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness into the therapeutic process. Areas of her professional interest include working with students exploring their substance use; those who have experienced interpersonal violence; individuals with anxiety, depression, and/or ADHD/neurodivergence; and LGBTQIA+ persons. Tara's therapeutic approach is impacted by her experience as a Registered Yoga Teacher, having previously owned and operated a yoga studio for five years, as well as her history co-leading a volunteer organization, which shared trauma-informed mindfulness and yoga practices with mental health professionals and trauma survivors. Tara believes in cultivating belonging, healing, and empowerment, while continuously striving towards diversity, equity, inclusion, justice and accessibility from humanistic and intersectional feminist perspectives.
