HINXWORTH ARCHERS

We are a target archery club situated in the picturesque North Hertfordshire village of Hinxworth on the Hertfordshire-Bedfordshire border and from where we take our name... Hinxworth Archery Club was formed in January 1999 by archery coaches Marianne and David Osmond who had moved from Muswell Hill in North London to the Hertfordshire village of Hinxworth. They were both active members of Aquarius Archery Club in Muswell Hill but the journey to and from London several times a week was getting more and more difficult. The Hinxworth village cricket club had finally ceased to exist due to lack of members so it was suggested by ex archer Marion Ewen that we might like to start an archery club in the village. The Parish Council readily gave their approval thus Hinxworth Archery Club was born!... Hinxworth Archery club found between Biggleswade and Letchworth. Recurve, longbow and compound shot indoors and outside.
