BROCKPORT YACHT CLUB

Located on the South Shore of Lake Ontario, near the mouth of Sandy Creek, Brockport Yacht Club is primarily a sailing club. It is and has been always a "Do-It-Yourself" club, in which the members take an active role in the activities and upkeep of the Club and the property. It is approximately 17 miles West of the Genesee River in Rochester, New York, and 12 miles East of Oak Orchard... We also define premier as being a "Do-It-Yourself" organization. We opt-out of the high dues, expensive slips, and minimum bar/restaurant monthly tabs and instead focus on working together to keep dues reasonable. Members take active roles in the planning and running of social events, club maintenance, club meetings, club spring opening, fall winterizing, and boat launch and haul-out work parties... At our club, we value safety, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. We believe that sailing is not just a sport, but a way of life, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community for all who share..
