Bio: I am a historian of health, hospitals and the city in the period since 1870. I have a particular interest in the interaction of power and institutions in Britain and France and the way local social and economic structures and cultures shape service provision and political priorities. I am director of the Centre for the History of Public Health and Medicine (CHPHM) at the University of Huddersfield, a committee member of the International Network for the History of Hospitals and an editorial board member of Social History of Medicine. I have recently published a book on the Politics of Hospital Provision in Early Twentieth Century Britain available from http://www.pickeringchatto.com/titles/1719-9781848934337-politics-of-hospital-provision-in-early-twentieth-century-britain... This is an example of a page. Unlike posts, which are displayed on your blog's front page in the order they're published, pages are better suited for more timeless content that you want to be easily..
