TPMM

Through exhibitions, debates and educational programs, TPMM is an independent platform to promote photography and visual culture in the whole region of South Caucasus. One of the leading projects of TPMM is "South Caucasus Hub for Education and Innovation" (PHEI) funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). TPMM brings together photographers, curators, artists, experts, filmmakers, video artists, students and scholars to explore photography as a medium to reflect contemporary realities in society and to empower important social and cultural changes. At TPMM, there is an emphasis on the important role of female photographers in examining, promoting, and advocating for change... The Tbilisi Photography Multimedia Museum is the first institution in Georgia dedicated entirely to contemporary images in all forms: photography, new media and video.
