In my earlier years I spent many years travelling as a service engineer, within the UK and abroad, and know what it is like staying in hotels for many nights on end. Over the years we have also made friends with the families of the over-seas students whilst visiting Derby, as we have been the UK guardians for many students during the last 12 years. Even now some current students will still stay with us on occasions, and some of the old one's return from abroad to give us a special visit...
