BNT CHEMICALS - Key Persons
Banjo Single-Liertz came to BNT chemicals to manage the areas of Product Management and Business Development in our Glass Coating Business Unit. Since then his responsibilities have grown to encompass all of our products and he represents the company as head of the sales department. During his studies at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, he specialized in organometallic catalysis and plant design. After graduating in applied chemistry and process engineering, he first worked as an R&D and applications engineer at Chemische Werke Kluthe in Heidelberg before joining BNT.
With over 30 years of experience in the chemical industry, Bernd Klöpzig joined BNT at the beginning of 2018 as Head of Operations. In 2020, he was appointed Managing Director. Upon studying mechanical engineering at the TU Dresden, he held various management positions in Germany and South-East Asia, where he was responsible for production, maintenance and support of investment projects. At BNT Chemicals, he is responsible for production, research & development, operating technology and investments, drawing on the full breadth of his experience.
As CSO of IBU-tec Group since the year 2020, Mr. Schlosser additionally took over as Managing Director of BNT Chemicals in 2022. Previously, he held various management positions at Wacker Chemie, ranging from Marketing & Sales to Quality Management and Research & Development. Before joining IBU-tec Group, he was Business Team Leader of the Silicones Business Unit - a career that has already taken him to Latin America, the USA and the Middle East. Dr. Schlosser completed his studies at the Justus von Liebig University in Giessen, where he received his doctorate in physical chemistry under Professor Seidel.
