Experience with my own neurodivergent children led me to realize the need for parent support in this area. As an educator, I had an advantage while maneuvering through the educational system. I knew the rights of both students and parents in the academic setting. I knew how to have a positive relationship with teachers and administrators. I could also read the assessments and knew the questions to ask in order to get my child's needs met. I knew the signs from various atypical behaviors that indicated a need to seek help. I can understand how some parents feel so lost when trying to parent their possibly neurodivergent child and get the academic and behavioral support they need. I am here to sincerely support you through this process... I am also an educator of 25 years, however I recently resigned my teaching position to follow my passion of working with parents and their children to help them problem-solve the daily demands of life.
