Adam is a Partner in the Corporate and Property practice groups at Appleby.
He has a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines, including: all aspects of commercial and residential real estate acquisition, finance, development, leasing and disposal; corporate banking; whole loan portfolio transactions; project finance; M&A; outsourcing; and other major commercial transactions.
Prior to joining Appleby, Adam was a partner at another law firm where he built a strong reputation for advising on the real estate, finance and corporate aspects of investment into and within the Cayman Islands, particularly in the hotel and tourism sector. Notably, in 2017 Adam led the legal team advising the purchaser on the largest real estate deal in the jurisdiction.
In addition to his legal practice, Adam leads the real estate module of the Truman Bodden Law School Professional Practice Course, gives seminars on business development strategy on behalf of the Caymanian Bar Association.
Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands, Adam practiced at Eversheds Sutherland in the UK and was senior in-house counsel at a leading financial services group.

Alan Bercow is a partner and member of the Cayman Dispute Resolution department.
He joined Appleby in November 2023 from Stephenson Harwood in London where he was a partner and co-head of the fraud and asset recovery team.
Alan acts on a broad range of corporate and commercial disputes, which have included some of the largest cases before the English courts. His clients include companies, directors, high net worth individuals and insolvency practitioners. Alan has extensive experience of parallel, multi-jurisdictional cases involving jurisdictions such as England, the Cayman Islands, BVI, Cyprus and the Isle of Man.
His practice involves high value, complex fraud and asset recovery claims, often including freezing orders, disclosure orders, anti-suit injunctions and gagging orders.

Alejandra Gonzalez Saucedo is a Senior Associate in Appleby's Hong Kong office and a member of the corporate department. She practices in the areas of private equity, mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and SPACs, as well as other commercial and corporate law related matters.
Alejandra advises clients from a wide spectrum of industries, including technology companies, financial institutes, multi-national banks, asset management companies and private equity companies.
Alejandra is fluent in English and Spanish. She also speaks French at an intermediate level.
Prior to joining Appleby in 2021, she practised corporate and commercial law for five years at Santos-Elizondo, a law firm based in Monterrey, Mexico and completed a secondment programme in the Hong Kong office of Ashurst.
