'The Hydraulics' was the name of Buffalo's original manufacturing district, which occupied this area from the 1820's. The Hydraulics Lofts building at 500 Seneca was originally built in 1901, and served as the factory and offices for F.N. Burt Company, at one time the world's largest manufacturer of paper boxes for products such as cigarettes and cosmetics. The storied history is incorporated into the Hydraulics Lofts' design; featuring high ceilings, older wood-framed portions, large factory windows and exposed brick walls."...
We are an entirely smoke free facility. Smoking is restricted to an area outside the building at the northwest corner.
