It may come as a surprise that Deck the Door Decor started small, with only one person creating each kick plate by hand, at home. Before our company really got its start, our mother Laurie was the first and only designer. She started creating kick plates for herself and her family as a fun hobby. When they started getting recognition from visitors, however, she realized she had started something really special. That's when the Deck the Door Decor business really began... Here at Deck the Door Decor, our mission is "to help people turn their house into their home, one custom door kick plate at a time." We believe in growing and developing our business in ways that are in line with our modest and personal beginnings. We are a small, family-owned business located in St. Louis, MO.
