Many professionals have a role in assessing, supporting, educating and protecting children and young people. Among others, these include; teachers, social workers, residential care workers, support workers, health visitors and nursery nurses. We work with these professionals through teaching, training and consultation, to increase understanding and awareness of the impact of mental health and developmental difficulties on young people and their behaviour with a view to supporting them more effectively... We work with children, young people, families and professionals, offering prompt and accessible assessment, intervention and training... We work primarily in Norfolk and Suffolk but will consider referrals from further afield. We assess patients at various locations, reflecting the rurality of the two counties and aim to meet with families as close as possible to where they live. Some travel may be necessary for families to access specific types of assessment or therapy.
