Founded in 2013 by University of Virginia faculty and a graduate student, SoundPipe is bringing ultrasonic drug delivery to the clinic. Our team is currently developing Penello, an innovative intravascular drug delivery system that efficiently directs and enhances drug delivery to treat critical limb ischemia (CLI). There are many other diseases that can benefit from the lower drug doses and enhanced delivery offered by ultrasonic drug delivery. After we address the unmet needs of CLI patients, SoundPipe will expand into other indications...
