Daniel McGlynn is a California-based writer covering the societal shift towards cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance... I majored in environmental studies and was drawn to education and international development. I worked a couple of summers at the Wilderness Education Institute in Estes Park, Colorado, and-except for a brief stint as an EMT in Denver-I was a bit of a meandering experiential educator for a few years... My main project was environmental education, but I certainly learned more than I ever taught. During my time in Nicaragua, I started to think about a career as a journalist and writer, although I'm not sure I knew what that really meant at the time.
