Ken was raised working on a farm in Virgin, Utah. Growing up, he had to learn many trades and to work hard to survive from working with and caring for animals to operating all kinds of equipment. He was also fortunate enough to be part of other interesting and fun projects and jobs that took place in Southern Utah. When he was 15, he worked on his first movie, Child Bride of Short Creek, and continued to work as an Assistant Art Director and Set Director. Other movies he worked on were On Our Own, Romancing The Stone, and Octopussy. Ken appeared as the man on the horse that brought Bear Grylls back to civilization at the end of the Utah episode... In addition to his time spent in show business, Ken has worked as a security guard, road construction worker in Utah and California, built both residential and commercial properties, and worked as a Superintendent responsible for the oversight of multi-million dollar jobs.
