Roger Kirk, a graduate of Villanova University Class of 1977 and resident of the greater Philadelphia area, built a successful career in data communications. Roger was a people person, so his career in sales was a natural fit. He started his career as a salesperson for a regional manufacturer, and then transitioned to sales roles at multiple value-added resellers. Learning from his experience at these VARs and using his longstanding relationships with suppliers and end users, he made the decision in December 1994 to parlay decades of industry experience and venture out on his own. That was the start of CNI Sales. Soon afterwards, Roger's brother, Tom, and Roger's wife, Maryanne, joined CNI as well.
Over the years, this small local entity which began as the "Kirk family" business turned into a formidable regional enterprise, now a true "CNI family" business. Certainly, the IT world has changed over 30 years. What has never changed since 1994 is CNI's commitment to our mission statement of living by the Golden Rule - treat others the way you want to be treated.
