WOLSINGHAM

The bowling club is located in the Recreation Ground half a mile west of the Market Place on the A689. The postcode is DL13 3AP. There is a Pay & Display car park, but Wolsingham residents can purchase/use the annual permit available from the Parish Clerk, and a limited number of temporary visitors' permits, are available from the bowling club... The bowling green is owned by the Parish Council, but is managed by the bowling club, whose members look after both the green and the surrounding garden. The green was opened in 1989, thanks to the generosity of Joe Johnson who provided the funding.
