Welcome to Willow Tree Wellness. My name is Dr. Kathleen Voelsing and I am a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2005 and received my Master's Degree/Nurse Practitioner in 2007. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013... More important than my credentials, is who I am. I am an alcoholic and a drug addict with my own past mental health issues. I have been in recovery since 2010. I understand the struggle of addiction and mental illness and the struggle is very real. You may feel consumed by darkness, alone, scared. My addiction was as bad as it gets and it fueled my mental health problems. If I can recover from these things, you can, too. We will work together to find freedom from the issues you face, those which are holding you back. I will not judge you. I may be blunt, I will push you to work towards your recovery, but I will not judge you. No matter what your past or how far you've fallen, you can recover.
