A former Metro player, Coach Mottola brings three years of coaching at the youth level to Metro. She graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 2018. She was a four-year varsity starter as a goalie and earned multiple First Team All-League honors, as well as being named "The Best Girls Lacrosse Goalie in the American Conference". She became the first lacrosse goalie in Fair Lawn High School history to surpass the 500 career save mark and finished her 4 years with a total 529 saves. Coach Mottola is a rising sophomore at Quinnipiac University, and will be graduating in 2024 with a Masters of Occupational Therapy degree with the hope of pursuing a post-graduate doctoral degree. She is finding the best of both worlds at Quinnipiac and playing club lacrosse for the university! Coach Mottola is the goalie coach for Metro's youth teams.

Coach Aleya Corretjer graduated from North Rockland High School in 2018. In high school, she received Rockland County Female Athlete of the Year, Journal News Player of the Year, All American, All Conference, All Section and All League. She was selected first team all state and made NYS tournament team. After high school, Corretjer continued her stellar lacrosse career at Pace University. She was a member of the 2023 DII National Championship team. In her final year, Corretjer had the highest-scoring season in Pace history, setting the all-time mark with 121 points. She set the single-season points, single-season assists, single-game assists and all-time assists records in her 2023 season. Corretjer was named IWLCA and NE10 First Team All-American, IWLCA and NE10 Attacker of the Year, Pace University Female Athlete of the Year, NE10 Academic All-Conference/All-District and Team Captain. Corretjer Graduated with a 3.79 GPA with a Masters of Cyber Security and a BS in Computer Science. Coach Corretjer is the co-head coach of the Metro Magic 2026 team.

Coach Conklin graduated Suffern High School as an All-American only to continue as a four year starter at George Mason University. Graduating in 1999 with All-American and 1st team All-CAA honors, Coach Conklin moved into coaching giving two years to James Madison University, reaching the Final Four in the 2000 NCAA Tournament, losing to Princeton in the semi-finals. She coached 5 collegiate All-Americans on that team. Her 2001 James Madison squad were CAA champions and lost by 1 goal to UMD in the quarter-finals of the NCAA tournament. Coach Conklin played for the Maryland Thunder, the first professional women's lacrosse exhibition game in 2001 at the Capital Center in Washington, D.C. She currently works per diem at New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell as a registered nurse on the labor & delivery unit as well as holding the position of head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Coach Conklin has been a prominent part of the Metro staff since 1999. Coach Conklin resides in Suffern, New York with her three children. Coach Conklin is the Director of College Recruiting and the assistant coach of the Metro Magic 2026 team.
Coach Moran attended and played lacrosse at North Rockland HS. After high school, she continued her lacrosse career at Mercy College before transferring to Dominican College. Coach Moran graduated from Dominican in 2018. She is currently entering her fourth year teaching 7th grade Social Studies in the NR school district in addition to coaching the NR K-2 Youth team and Modified lacrosse. Coach Moran is the head coach of the Metro Magic 2032/33 team.

Coach Dana will be the assistant coach of the Metro Magic 2028 team.
Emily Gorham graduated from Westwood High School in 2022 and had played for Metro for 6 years. At Westwood, she was a four time tri-varsity athlete and two time captain of her lacrosse team. She received First Team All League Freedom West Conference and Second Team All Group 1. Emily is in her sophomore year playing defense at the University of Vermont where she is studying biology. Emily will be joining the Metro coaching staff when she finishes her collegiate season in the spring.

Coach Borchers brings 20 years of coaching experience to Metro. He graduated in 2001 from Cortland with a Physical Education degree and received a masters degree in Special Education from CCNY in 2004. The Fall of 2019 will mark his 18th year employed by the NRCSD as a physical education teacher. Coach Borchers is currently the Head Coach of North Rockland Girls Varsity. He has held that position since 2006 and has accumulated over 200 wins. While serving as Head Coach, the team has won 8 League Titles, 5 Section 1 Class A titles (2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), and reached the NYS final 4 in 2016, 2017 & 2018. Coach Borchers has had the honor of coaching 13 U.S. Lacrosse High School All Americans, over 85 athletes who were named to the All Section Team, 115 players to the All League Teams and has coached the Rockland County player of the year 8 times. Over 60 student athletes have participated in college from the NR program at the D1, D2, D3 level. Coach Borchers has also coached the Hudson Valley Empire State Team, the Hudson Valley Hurricanes and the Hudson Valley WDNT for the past 10 Seasons. Coach Borchers is the director of Player Development for Metro's youth teams and the assistant coach for the Metro Magic 2029 team.
Hailey Bardorf is a former Metro player from New City, NY, joining the Metro family when she was 10 years old . She graduated from Clarkstown High School South in 2022. At Clarkstown, Hailey was a varsity starting defender since freshman year and a team captain since her junior year season. Hailey is currently continuing her lacrosse career at Bentley University, where she plans to major in marketing with a sports management minor. Coach Bardorf will join the Metro coaching staff when she finishes her collegiate season in the spring.

Hilary has over 10 years of coaching experience at the club and high school levels. A former Metro player, Hilary graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in NJ in 2005. At Mountain Lakes she captained both her lacrosse and soccer teams, earning numerous all-league, all-county, and all-state awards in both sports. Hilary continued her lacrosse career at the University of Pennsylvania where she was a four year starter on defense. She graduated from Penn in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Her collegiate playing honors include numerous Ivy League Defender of the Week awards, First Team All-American, First Team All-Ivy, All-Tournament selection, and Tewaarton Award Nominee. Hilary helped lead her team to 3 Ivy League Championship titles and 3 Final Four appearances. Hilary coached at Chatham High School in NJ from 2010 to 2017, as assistant from 2010-2012, and head coach from 2012-2017. Hilary is the Director of Communications for Metro Girls Lacrosse Club.
Coach James Amandola comes to Metro with a highly decorated playing career as well as years of coaching and teaching. James began his lacrosse career at Patchogue Medford High School. He was recruited to play in college and continued his career at Manhattan College. He was a four-year starter in goal for Manhattan. As a senior captain, James led the team in an undefeated MAAC season, their first MAAC Lacrosse Championship as well as first ever automatic qualification to an NCAA tournament. James was selected to the MAAC tournament 1st team and awarded tournament MVP. He was named MAAC Conference Defensive Player of the Year, as well as numerous MAAC Conference Defender of the Week awards throughout his career.
James compiled some impressive statistics throughout his career at Manhattan College. He is the all time leader in minutes played, saves, and saves per game in Manhattan College History. He is the only three time Outstanding Performer in Manhattan Lacrosse history. 3,533 minutes played in a career is 6th best in NCAA Division I history. 1,043 saves for a career is 2nd best in NCAA Division I history. His career average of 17.38 saves per game is 4th best in NCAA Division I history. His 2002 save percentage of 685% is the 9th best for a single season in NCAA Division I history. Additionally, he holds the Delaware Stadium record for most saves in an NCAA tournament game.

Coach Jeanie Peluso Graduated from North Rockland High School in 2013. Received All Section, All County and All League honors. She graduated with a degree in Childhood Education from Dominican College in 2018, where she played midfield and was captain of the women's lacrosse team. Coach Peluso has been coaching in the North Rockland Youth League program for 6 years and for the past two years has coached the North Rockland Girl's Junior Varsity team. She is currently going into her third year of teaching 6th grade at Farley Elementary School in the North Rockland Central School District. Coach Peluso is the Head Coach of the Metro Magic 2029 team.
Coach Fox graduated from North Rockland High school in 2016. In high school she received All Section, All County, and All League honors and played on the National Tournament team. Coach Fox graduated from Dominican College in 2020. She played midfield for 4 years at Dominican, and garnered several honors including CACC Rookie of the year, First Team All CACC all four years and First Team All EACC. As a junior, she broke the records for all time leading draw controls, assists and points at Dominican. Coach Fox is currently a Physical Education Teacher at North Rockland High School. She is also the Assistant Varsity Coach for both lacrosse and field hockey at North Rockland. Coach Fox is the Head Coach of the Metro Magic 2031 team.

Coach Gizzi comes to Metro with over 9 years of coaching experience. He currently coaches in North Rockland as the head coach of the 5th/6th grade youth team, head coach of the middle school team, as well as assistant coach of the JV and Varsity high school teams. Coach Gizzi graduated from North Rockland High School and furthered his education at SUNY Cortland and Stony Brook. He currently teaches Physical Education at Fieldstone Middle School, and has taught at all levels during his time in the NRCSD. Coach Gizzi is the co-head coach of the Metro Magic 2026 team.

John Callanan comes to Metro with over 25 years of coaching girls' lacrosse in the tri-state area. As the Suffern High School Girls Lacrosse Coach since 1998, Coach Callanan's teams have featured over 45 All-Americans, and have earned several US Lacrosse "Top-25 National Rankings". Coach Callanan's club coaching experience began in 2002 when he created the Hudson Valley Hurricane Girls Lacrosse Club. Other coaching assignments that Callanan has taken on have been the Hudson Valley Regional Coach/Director of the US Lacrosse National Tournament(1999-Present), Hudson Valley Regional Coach/Director of the Empire State Games(2001-2008), and Founder/Director of the Suffern Girls Youth Lacrosse Club(1999-Present). Along with coaching, Mr. Callanan has been teaching history at Suffern High School since 1996, and has served as an Adjunct Instructor for Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Public Policy since 2011. Mr. Callanan graduated from Le Moyne College, and he earned Masters Degree in Education from The City College of New York. While at Le Moyne, Coach Callanan played four years as a Defensive Midfielder for the Dolphins('91-'94). Coach Callanan and his wife, Mary Lynn Collins-Callanan, reside in Tarrytown, N.Y. with their four children Daniel, Mary Kate, Johnny, and Rosie. John is the Head Coach of the Metro Magic 2030 team and assistant coach of the Metro Magic 2028 team.
Coach Kathryn will be joining the Metro coaching staff when she finishes her collegiate season in the spring.

Coach Katie Lonergan graduated from North Rockland High School in 2012. She graduated with a degree in Childhood and Special Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2016, where she played goalie and was captain of the women's lacrosse team. Coach Lonergan has been coaching in the North Rockland Youth League program for 6 years and for the past 4 years has coached the North Rockland Girls Junior Varsity team. She is currently going into her fifth year of teaching in North Rockland Central School District. Coach Lonergan is the Assistant Coach of the Metro Magic 2029 team.

Coach Rehain was a midfielder and attacker for the Suffern Varsity lacrosse team from 2006-2010. She served as captain her final two seasons as she earned All-County and All-Section accolades. She also played on the NYS team in the Women's Division National Tournament and the Hudson Valley team in the Empire State Games in her sophomore and junior year. After high school Coach Rehain went on to be a four year starter in both attack and midfield at Manhattan College where she studied physical education. After Manhattan, Coach Rehain attended Springfield College in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Adapted physical education. While there, she served as Longmeadow High School assistant varsity coach and helped them gain their Massachusetts state title in 2015. She is currently a special education teacher and has been the Suffern High School JV coach for the past three years. Coach Rehain is the head coach for the Metro Magic 2027 team.

Coach Lizzy Fox graduated from North Rockland high school in 2018. In high school she received All Section, All County, and All League honors and played on the National Tournament team. As a senior she was a US-Lacrosse All American. Lizzy played for Metro for 6 years. Coach Fox is going into her senior year at James Madison University. Playing midfield at JMU, she has earned CAA All rookie team as a freshman and Second team All-CAA as a junior. Coach Fox majors in Health Sciences with a minor in business. Coach Fox is the head coach of the Metro Magic 2028 team.
