JASON LIEF

I teach in the religion department at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. My primary focus is Practical Theology-exploring how theological language connects with our lived experience. I enjoy writing about music and film, and I front a band called the Hiccups with my son Christian. You can catch us down at the Fruited Plain Cafe playing covers of Twenty one Pilots and the Foo Fighters. I'm a married to Tamara and we have three kids: Naomi, Christian, and Savannah, with a dog (Lady) and a cat (Meow Meow)... At Northwestern I lead the Youth Ministry program as a part of the Religion Department. I teach intro biblical Studies and theology courses as well as upper level youth ministry and spiritual formation courses... Jason Lief teaches religion with a primary focus in Practical Theology at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
