GREATER HOUSTON ROWING CLUB

THE GREATER HOUSTON ROWING CLUB (GHRC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 to promote rowing within the greater Houston metropolitan area. The club's mission is to provide facilities, equipment, and training for all levels of rowing ability from athletes training for regional and national regattas to complete beginners willing to give the sport a try... The Greater Houston Rowing Club was founded in the late 1980s and established as a non-profit club in 1988 to promote rowing and provide facilities, equipment and training for all levels of rowing ability - from beginners to national and international competitors. While we introduce and foster rowing in the community, we encourage support for Oyster Creek and Sugar Land through annual US Rowing's Learn to Row Days, the annual Keep Sugar Land Beautiful cleanup event, and various other events. We are entering the adaptive rowing world partnering with another non-profit in providing equipment and a venue in our area.
