Enrique Gómez-Pinzón is the executive partner of Holland & Knight's office in Bogotá, Colombia. He practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), cross-border investment and financing, corporate and compliance, international arbitration and project financing. While Mr. Gómez-Pinzón spends the majority of his time in Bogota, he still maintains his practice in Washington, D.C.
In his practice, Mr. Gómez-Pinzón has participated in some of the most important M&A transactions in Colombia in the last 30 years, including logistics and pharmaceutical companies, licensing of cellular telephones, banking entities, power generating and distribution companies, and petroleum and gas transportation.
Mr. Gómez-Pinzón has represented acquiring companies in various M&A transactions of mass public transportation companies in Ecuador, Chile and Colombia. He has participated in various M&A transactions within the United States, representing foreign acquiring companies, as well as cross-border transactions in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, the Bahamas, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Peru and Venezuela. Additionally, he has extensive experience in corporate matters, including internal investigations and compliance issues and he regularly advises companies in Colombia regarding the design, implementation and enforcement of comprehensive compliance and ethics programs to reduce their potential legal exposure, as well as defending clients with civil investigations, and coordinating with U.S. and other foreign counsel.
Likewise, Mr. Gómez-Pinzón has represented contractors in matters before the World Bank Sanctions Committee. He has served as an arbitrator in a variety of international investment arbitrations administered by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), as well as cases administered under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules and Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Gómez-Pinzón was the founder and former director of one the largest law firms in Colombia. He was the co-founder and director of the Colombian-Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition, he was a member of the board of directors of the Bogotá Stock Exchange, as well as an independent board member of several publicly traded companies and banks in Colombia and the United States.
Mr. Gómez-Pinzón served as the director of the Colombian Trade Bureau in Washington, D.C., where he represented the Colombian government and several of its industries. In 1999, he formed part of the Colombian Delegation for the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Seattle Ministerial Conference and the Free Trade Area of the Americas' (FTAA) Fifth Ministerial Meeting in Toronto.

Isabel C. Diaz is a Miami real estate attorney who focuses her practice on complex commercial real estate transactions and commercial lending. Ms. Diaz has extensive experience in acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing of commercial properties.
Ms. Diaz handles loan closings for commercial and construction loans, including the drafting and negotiation of loan documents, as well as the review of all applicable due diligence items. She prepares and negotiates commercial real estate contracts in the representation of both purchasers and sellers. Ms. Diaz also drafts and negotiates lease agreements in the representation of landlords and tenants, including government entities, financial institutions and restaurant owners. Her practice also involves the representation of various real estate investment firms in joint venture projects as they continue to grow their real estate assets. In addition, she represents several international clients interested in investing in the United States, with a special focus on Spanish clients.
In addition, Ms. Diaz assists her education clients on leasing, construction, acquisition and sale transactions involving state-owned properties and privately owned properties used or to be used for a public purpose. She also has experience in negotiating campus development agreements with local municipalities, as well as in structuring and negotiating public-private partnerships as financing alternatives.
Ms. Diaz currently serves as the co-chair of Holland & Knight's Hispanic Affinity Group. She previously served as senior counsel at Holland & Knight from 2012-2014 before joining Florida International University (FIU) as associate general counsel from 2014-2017. In her role at FIU, she provided legal support on university contracting matters, with an emphasis on real estate and construction. Kelly-Ann Gibbs Cartwright is a seasoned labor and employment attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office. Her practice involves representation of employers before federal, state and local administrative agencies, at arbitration and in state and federal court on matters arising out federal, state and local anti-discrimination and employment-related statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the federal and Florida Whistleblower Acts, and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). In addition, Ms. Cartwright handles trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation that includes litigating preliminary injunctions in state and federal court.
Ms. Cartwright has served as principal trial counsel for management in a number of jury trials, labor and employment arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. She has successfully defended management and corporate clients in collective and class action employment cases under the FLSA and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
In addition, Ms. Cartwright provides advice and counsel on all aspects of the employment relationship, including employment contracts, restrictive covenants agreements, severance agreements, employee handbooks and policies, and compliance with employment and labor laws. Mark C. Davis is a partner in Holland & Knight's Austin office. He focuses his practice on the representation of rural electric cooperatives before the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) in matters involving contested case hearings, transmission line certification cases and rulemaking proceedings. Mark R. Goldschmidt is a partner in Holland & Knight's Financial Services Practice Group who also co-leads the firm's National Security & Defense Industry Group. He practices largely in the area of financial services with a strong focus on public and private financings, securities issuances, mergers and acquisitions, bank regulatory issues, general business transactions and strategic business initiatives.
Mr. Goldschmidt primarily represents public and private companies in a range of industries on a variety of matters, including securities law compliance, corporate governance matters, executive compensation and general corporate matters. He regularly advises management teams, boards of directors and public company committees with regard to fiduciary duties, governance and securities law disclosure as well as compliance issues. Roddy Bailey is a deal lawyer and serves as an executive partner of Holland & Knight's Chattanooga office. Mr. Bailey's mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investment transactions experience is prized by clients who value his ability to see the entire playing field from pre-deal investment or corporate planning through transformative transactions and post-closing matters.
Mr. Bailey is a trusted advisor in the private equity space, where he leads and advises on private equity, M&A transactions as well as growth equity financings. He works with private equity buyers on platform and add-on transactions in the middle market, including related credit financings and co-investment arrangements. Mr. Bailey also works with founders who are seeking to sell their business, including issues related to rollover equity investments with a sponsor-buyer.

Tahany M. Alsabahi is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Alsabahi focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts, including representations and warranties insurance (RWI), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) transactions and purported class actions. Ms. Alsabahi has extensive experience representing clients in RWI claims investigations, breach of fiduciary duty actions, including ERISA- and ESOP-related litigation, and breach of contract claims.

Tricia DeLeon is a litigator in Holland & Knight's Dallas office with more than 25 years of first-chair trial and arbitration experience primarily representing lenders, private equity funds and real estate investment companies and trusts. She has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Texas by Texas Super Lawyers magazine. Ms. DeLeon is a tenacious, effective advocate in the courtroom. She has tried dozens of jury and bench trials, adversary proceedings and arbitrations. She has also successfully resolved more than 350 cases before or during mediation.
Ms. DeLeon routinely defends brokerage firms being investigated by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and leads litigation related to FINRA arbitrations, investment fraud matters, Form U5 terminations and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) violations. Ms. DeLeon also serves as a FINRA arbitrator.
Ms. DeLeon is frequently hired to defend financial institutions in lender liability lawsuits or other alleged breaches of contracts and fiduciary duties.
