MACGREGOR SOUTHS CRICKET CLUB

The MacGregor Cricket Club was established in 1974, to provide organised cricket competitions and coaching for children aged 8 to 16 in the MacGregor/Sunnybank area... We were incorporated in 1985 and changed our name to MacGregor/Souths Cricket Club in 1996, to acknowledge our role as a junior feeder club for the Southern Districts Cricket Club (Yeronga)... We are the current holders of a lease on Brisbane City Council parkland at D. M. Henderson Park at MacGregor, where we have 2 ovals. Four junior teams play on our ovals each Saturday. The MacGregor Cricket Club (a senior sub-committee of our club), use one of our ovals to play in the Brisbane Warehouse Cricket Association competition.
