Amina is our law clerk who primarily assists with Estate Planning and Business Law. Her previous experience in the estate planning field brings valuable knowledge and insight to Farooqi & Husain. Amina also excels in legal writing and hopes to use her skills to benefit the firm's clients.
Graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a double minor in Political Science and Sociology, Amina is currently pursuing her J.D. at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and expects to graduate in 2025.
Ashley Madryk graduated from University of Miami with a double major in Political Science and International Studies. She started working at FH as a paralegal in 2017. She is currently attending law school at Chicago College of Kent part-time while she maintains her position at FH now as a full-time law clerk.
Ashley primarily handles family law and child custody matters. She is a key asset to the FH team as she brings significant experience in client relations, legal writing and knowledge in the field of family law. She understands divorce isn't easy for any family, and tries her best to make a difficult situation into something manageable for all her clients.
Attorney Naveed Husain is the managing partner of Farooqi & Husain Law Office. He focuses on the areas of family law, estate planning, and business law for clients in DuPage County and Cook County in Illinois.
Attorney Ausaf Farooqi focuses his practice on family law, estate planning, and probate litigation. Mr. Farooqi has represented clients in every aspect of family law, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, child visitation, child support, orders of protection, annulments, pre-and post-nuptial contracts, and enrollment of foreign divorce judgments. He has obtained favorable settlements and successful judgments on behalf of his clients.

Jade Sheng is a Chicago-based award-winning visual designer, illustrator, and art director. Having completed her graduate degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jade comes in with a wide range of skills and experiences that make her an excellent problem-solver.
With years of leadership and design experience, Jade brings a refreshing outlook to the Farooqi & Husain Law Office as the visual/marketing designer.

Naveed's primary area of practice is family law. He has handled a wide range of complex divorce litigations, including multi-million dollar marital estates, contentious custody battles, and issues related to international law and child abduction. He routinely assists clients in child support, child custody, father's rights, and other related issues. He often uses his background in business, estate planning, and asset protection to approach divorce litigation from a unique and creative perspective.
Naveed is constantly innovating in the practice of law. Through the use of technology and other business disciplines, he is able to implement systems that allow him to complete matters for his clients more efficiently and at a substantially lower cost.
Outside of the area of family law, Naveed also works with a number of individuals, small businesses, and nonprofits. For individuals, Naveed is an accomplished estate planning attorney with a deep knowledge of the various tools and resources available to assist clients in preserving their assets and passing their assets along to the next generation at the lowest cost and lowest risk possible. For small businesses and nonprofits, Naveed routinely assists them in ensuring they remain in compliance with all legal requirements in their day-to-day business, plans ahead with his clients to avoid potential future pitfalls, and defends his clients vigorously if litigation was to ensue.
Naveed couples his legal experience with a broad knowledge of Islamic family law and Islamic estate planning. This knowledge provides him with a unique perspective to assist the Chicago Muslim community in understanding the intersection of law with their religious practice and achieving their goals in and outside of Court.
Naveed received his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is often invited to give lectures, presentations, and speeches across the Chicago area on a wide variety of legal topics such as estate planning and civil rights.

A Roosevelt University graduate, Riddhi earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies and an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. She brings a wealth of experience in paralegal work, customer service, and relationship building. She also contributes to her community through regular volunteer work at animal shelters and temples.
Rita Senhaji graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois Springfield with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in December 2021. She was raised in the U.S. but lived abroad for more than four years. Rita is fluent in Arabic and has a deep interest in Islamic law.
