ROBOTICS

Our build site is located in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) building at Farragut High School. We utilize a classroom for team meetings and training; a lab for programming, CAD, and creative business; a workshop for machining parts; and a regulation size playing field. Students, parents, and mentors spend over 650 volunteer hours constructing our playing field which a mentor designs using sponsor-provided software. We open our field to regional teams for robot practice and field strategy workshops. This year, we hosted 12 teams from as far away as 160 miles... We strive to educate and motivate every team member to seek out new challenges, to promote STEM education in our community, and to use their unique talents to make a positive impact on the future.
