Astra Handball Club is based in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County, South Dublin, and has junior and senior teams... Astra Handball Club was created in 2007 as a non-profit sports club and is operated under the laws of Ireland for the main object of promoting the amateur game of Olympic Handball for men, women, boys and girls... Astra handball Club was founded in 2007 by UCD Alumni and former members of the UCD Olympic Handball Club. The aim of the club was to give the opportunity to the UCD players to keep playing handball after finishing college and be open to everyone who want to play handball.
