Ashton Care is now owned by Rebecca. She is the daughter of the founder, our wonderful Nominated Individual, Sue Newman, who started the organisation in 1986. Sue was working as a mental health nurse in a hospital and wanted to help those she cared for regain some of their independence and return to a more personal home environment. She took out loans and re-mortgaged her home to make that dream a possibility... We are the Ashton Care family and have been caring for vulnerable people with mental health difficulties and physical impairments for almost thirty years. We have two care homes, a nursing home and in-home care agency. We'd love for you to take a look around and see if we might be the right fit for you.
