Adam Griffiths

Biography Adam began his career with Livemore in 2007 with a period of work experience and then a part time role while studying at college and then university. He went on to graduate from Anglia Ruskin University in 2012 with a Bsc (Hons) in Architectural Technology. He also holds a National Diploma in Construction & Construction Management and is currently completing his accreditation as a MCIAT. Adam is our Account Manager for Paddy Power and is also BIM & CAD Manager for the practice, maintaining and aligning procedures & systems in accordance with legislation PAS1192.

Alex Richards

Biography In December 2018 Alex joined Livemore as an apprentice Building Surveyor. He is currently completing his FdSc construction qualification at Anglia Ruskin University with the intention of studying part-time towards a BSc (Hons) building surveying degree. Alex is learning the trade under the guidance of the Livemore team and has become increasingly involved in several projects. Visiting numerous sites and attending meetings early in his career is not only helping to develop Alex's industry skills but strengthening his experience as a future Building Surveyor.

Andy Clark

Biography Andy joined The Livermore Partnership in 1987 as a post-graduate building surveyor with several years of construction industry experience. By 2000, Andy had become Partner and progressed into equity ownership. He is now a senior designated member of Livemore LLP with responsibility for practice development heading a progressive team of construction professionals. Andy has extensive experience in all facets of the practice and has worked with a wide range of Clients and business sectors concentrating primarily on core building surveying services. Heading up a team of 8 Building Surveyors working out of the Leigh-on-Sea office, he continues to work with an increasingly diverse range of public, private and charity sector Clients dealing with all types of projects across a wide range of building types. Most recently he has assisted Clients in developing response strategies to the discovery of RAAC which has proved to be quite a prevalent problem in London, Anglia and the South East of England.

Colin Harmond

Colin is a working Partner at Livemore and has been a crucial member of our team since 1999. Professionally trained as a Building Surveyor, Colin began his impressive career primarily in the Education sector. He now specialises in a number of other sectors including Commercial and increasingly Healthcare projects. Hospital and healthcare projects can come with their own unique set of difficult technical complications and Colin is a true expert at running and managing these works. His recent achievements include responsibility for the Radiology Department remodelling and X-ray room at Broomfield Hospital and the state of the art Laporoscopic Theatre at Southend University Hospital. Colin also provides Building Surveying services, Project Management and handles neighbourly matters - such as Party Wall and oversail agreements. A great proponent of efficient and fruitful collaborative teamwork, he understands the value of developing reliable, longstanding relationships with clients and colleagues.​

Emma Miller

Biography Emma joined Livemore in March 2022 to support the Royal Mail Street Furniture Programme Team. This role involves liaising with Royal Mail, councils, third party and residential customers to successfully identify and co-ordinate Street Furniture locations, ensuring end-to end ongoing customer service and that all areas of the work process are completed within deadlines. In addition, Emma is responsible for effectively developing and implementing Livemore's compliance programme. Working closely with the whole Partnership to ensure all departments meet compliance requirements, Emma is proactive in maintaining Livemore's continued adherence to regulatory reporting guidelines in all aspects of Health & Safety, Environmental and Business Management processes.

Irina Dove

Biography In April 2018, Irina joined Livemore as a Technician for the Royal Mail Street Furniture programme. She became Programme Manager, responsible for supervising the Royal Mail Churn programme in January 2019 and now also oversees Royal Mail's Pouch Box removal and Parcel Box conversion & installation programmes.

James Warren

Biography He began his time with us in the Drawing Office as a draftsman, undertaking surveying, feasibility, Planning and Building Regulation duties within the commercial, domestic, education and healthcare sectors. With James' growing skills and capabilities he has moved into more of a Programme and Project Management role where he is happy working within a design team, running projects and assisting in developing scheme solutions. James has a very positive and proactive approach to construction projects and over recent years, he has naturally been assigned to Programme Management roles on various national rollout projects for Royal Mail and Paddy Power PLC respectively. He enjoys seeing the evolution of projects from feasibility stages through to completion and would like to continue to develop new skills whilst expanding into different areas within the industry to gain further experience of the construction sector in general.

Katie Hand

Biography Katie joined the Practice from a Financial Services background at the end of 2017. She provides more than one role as a Technician playing an integral part on all stages of the Royal Mail Street Furniture Programme as a Technician, contributing significantly to the Royal Mail Churn Programme, alongside her position as Accounts Assistant. Her responsibilities within this role include Accounts Payable and Receivable plus General Ledger, staff expenses and time management data collection.

Lyn Bond

Biography Following a vibrant career on the City of London financial trading floors, Lyn has been a key member of the Livemore team since joining us 20 years ago. Her proven proficiency and meticulous approach have paved the way to her success in the role of Associate Partner & Practice Manager within the Management Team. Demonstrating expertise and competence in several roles across the Practice including Finance, HR, Quality & Compliance standards, Lyn strives to streamline and improve processes wherever possible. Her highly motivated approach with excellent administrative and problem-solving skills ensures an effective and efficient running office.

Malcolm Clark

Biography Malcolm has been employed with Livemore as a Churn Facilities Manager since he joined us in 2003. He began his career with NatWest Bank where he progressed through the branch network, completing an impressive 29 years service as IT Programme Manager. Since joining the team at Livemore, Malcolm has worked alongside fellow Churn Managers supporting the day-to-day changes that that occur within the Royal Mail, together with the planning and fulfillment of delivery office and mail centre revisions.

Paul Choppen

Biography Paul joined us in 2001 after many years as a Director of a long established, renowned business in Leigh-on-Sea. Initially trained in accounts, Paul's varied working life included accountancy postings in leisure and healthcare before becoming the Director of five retail companies throughout the South of England. Previously managing large logistical projects for Royal Mail, Paul became a Technician for their Street Furniture programme in 2017. He is responsible for liaising between Royal Mail, councils, third party and residential customers, for co-ordinating Street Furniture locations, tracking outcomes via portals and reporting to the Programme Manager. He is a valued team member who positively thrives on maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Paul Howard

Biography Before joining Livemore in 2018, Paul already had over 20 years experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor working with a range of institutional, private and public sector clients. His career included a role with the highly regarded firm, Glenny LLP. Ahead of his graduation, Paul was also responsible for the health and safety audits of a national construction equipment hire company for over 4 years. Throughout his career he has provided Project Management and Building Surveying services to many large organisations including The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, London Borough of Newham, Lloyds Banking Plc and Handelsbanken. Paul has also been responsible for delivering other surveying services such as Party Wall appointments and Landlord and Tenant advice for smaller firms, clients, property and managing agents.

Rachel Harlow

Biography Rachel's earlier career was in Education, where she supported children with emotional and educational needs. She joined our Post Box team to assist in the siting and removal of Royal Mail Post Boxes nationwide. As part of the Street Furniture programme, Rachel's responsibilities include identifying and co-ordinating locations, recording outcomes to trackers and portals and liaising with Royal Mail, councils and members of the public. Rachel's diligence and attention to detail further contribute to the smooth running of the programme.

Rachel White

Biography Rachel began her career at the Department for Work and Pensions and in the finance sector before joining Livemore in 2007 as General Practice Co-ordinator. As a PA Rachel worked closely alongside Colin Harmond on healthcare projects and party wall matters, adapting to the different needs of the Practice as the company evolved. With an extensive knowledge across all departments combined with her versatility Rachel is an integral member of the Secretarial Team. Qualifying in 2010 as a Psychotherapist, the skills and qualities Rachel acquired from her counselling training further supports her experience in providing Human Resources support to the partners.

Richard Hoile

Biography Richard is a working Partner here at Livemore and has been with the partnership since 1996. Initially trained as a Building Surveyor with a degree from Leicester, Richard started his career working primarily in the Retail sector working for major players Coral and Boots. During his busy and varied career, Richard has worked in all areas of Building Surveying, including design, contract administration, surveys & valuations and dispute resolution. With vast industry experience, he now spends the majority of his time working in Project Management but does also still cover some Party Wall work and defect diagnosis. Richard is very much a collaborative team player and places great emphasis on building rewarding longstanding relationships with his practice colleagues and network of clients. He is a talented and effective mediator and a confident, dynamic negotiator. In recent years this has meant that Richard has become increasingly involved in the larger construction projects and programmes. Richard is also the Partner responsible for Health and Safety within the Practice.

Richard Lamprell

Biography After graduation from Anglia Ruskin University in 2006, Richard promptly joined Livemore as a Building Surveyor. During his time with us, Richard has worked on an increasingly varied portfolio of work across a number of sectors and industries but gaining a wealth of experience in the commercial sector. His work included the undertaking of condition surveys, administration of building contract maintenance and capital works across an assortment of domestic, commercial, reatil and industrial properties. More recently, Richard has had increased involvement in Project Management with Richard Hoile alongside his numerous project work commitments outlined above. As of November 2023, Richard was promoted to Associate Partner in recognition of the support and dedication he gives to the Practice and his colleagues.

Sam Milne

Biography Sam joined the Drawing Office as a draftsman in 2001. Initially employed to undertake surveying, feasibility, planning and building regulation duties for the commercial, education, health and domestic sectors. Now a fully qualified Chartered Architectural Technologist, Sam works with the design team in a Programme and Project Management capacity, assisting in the design of scheme solutions. Sam has a positive and dedicated approach to the construction projects he is involved in. Over the last few years he has been assigned to Programme Management on various national rollout projects for Royal Mail and Post Office.

Vik Singh

After graduating from London Southbank University in 2021, Vik joined Livemore as a Graduate Building Surveyor. Despite being a relative newcomer to the construction industry, Vik has a wealth of customer service experience which has afforded him the skills to build strong client relationships as well as effectively remedying issues whilst working to tight deadlines. Vik is learning the industry under the guidance of the Livemore team and more recently, he has had increased involvement in Project Management with Richard Hoile. Vik's approachable character and professionalism make him a valued addition to the team.
