It depends. Some are "Fee Only," charging an annual fee based on the size of your portfolio. Some charge "Brokerage Fees" associated with each transaction you execute. Others are "Commission Based," who earn a commission on the sale of each product that their clients purchase. Finally, there are some hybrid scenarios that combine some of the above methods. At CIC, we are commission based. We do charge a fee for helping you create a financial roadmap. This fee is recoverable upon execution of our financial recommendations.
