A traditional apothecary assumed the role of caretaker of the community's health. It was a place to gather for news of the day and to have ailments relieved. Much like our store today, the apothecary was stocked with herbs, roots, teas, and other natural supplements. The colors that were displayed in the apothecary's show globes, like the ones hanging in our store, reflected the well-being of the whole town.
