Our roots lie in Scandinavian design, and they are intertwined with Ethiopian craftsmanship heritage and empowerment of people... Sera Helsinki combines Scandinavian design with Ethiopian craftsmanship traditions and a fully transparent production chain. All our rugs are natural products from pure sheep wool, and no chemicals are used in our processes... Anna officially founded SERA HELSINKI in 2016 in Ethiopia. From the very beginning, we knew that we wanted to work with the most vulnerable groups in Ethiopia. Every fifth person living in extreme poverty has a disability.
