The work we undertake is closely monitored and regulated and as such, The CFT is open to inspection and scrutiny from a range of various sources, both internal and external. As a Fostering Charity, our offices are evaluated individually by OFSTED... When you foster a child, legal responsibility remains with the child's birth family or the local authority. This is one of the ways fostering differs from adopting a child. The CFT provide s various types of foster placements that often extend into adulthood, and as a charity, we are committed to constant development in the services we offer. We set the bar high for our carers, so we can assure professional and quality fostering placements. Our training and support groups are continuously evolving to ensure our foster carers are given the tools they need for success... The CFT work with and support children and young people from over 100 placing Local Authorities. The CFT have contracts with the all of these local authorities and more..
