LAKE EFFECT ROBOTICS

Team 2708, Lake Effect Robotics, is a school-board wide FIRST Robotics team from the Limestone District School Board. 2708 began in late 2016 when teams 2809, K-Botics, from KCVI and 3710, FSS Cyber Falcons, from Frontenac Secondary School merged. The teams combined to help build resources to inspire and grow the minds of young individuals in the worlds of science, technology, maths, and engineering. This has also allowed students from schools which don't have the resources to create a FIRST team to join one. Our goal is to provide opportunities to aspiring individuals in a developing field of technology... Lake Effect Robotics is Limestone District School Board's world-champion competitive robotics team. Highschool students build a new robot each year to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition... In 2025 we're working to finish our post-covid rebuilding.
