Whilst at Keele, I spent my second year abroad at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. In my third year, I spent a semester as a Study Abroad Peer Adviser and helped outbound and inbound students make the most of their study abroad experiences. I then completed my Master's degree in Cities, Culture and Creativity at Liverpool John Moores University in 2022. In my spare time, I enjoy taking acting classes, reviewing theatre productions, swimming and trying out new restaurants in and around the city. As Director, Matt provides strategic leadership for Libraries, Museums and Galleries (LMG). He is responsible for setting the overarching vision for LMG services, collections, and spaces, and ensuring that these deliver against the ambitions of the University's Strategy 2031. Matt works to enhance the impact and visibility of LMG's activities through building partnerships across the university and with national and international partners. He attends several University committees and provides briefings to the University's senior leadership team in relation to library, information, and heritage issues and policies.
Matt is an advocate for cross-sector collaboration between the cultural, heritage and academic communities. He is a champion for the transformative effect of education and the role of libraries, museums, and galleries as catalysts of change for individuals, communities, institutions, and society.
Robert is an expert in French sociolinguistics. He oversees doctoral research in linguistic landscape and language policy, bringing expertise from his PhD supervision work from the Middle East to his role as Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor for Humanities and Social Sciences.

I am responsible for working with partners who wish to send their students to Liverpool for anything from three weeks over summer to a full year of study. I look after relationships which are outside of existing exchange arrangements, as well as finding ways to spread the word about the brilliant offer here in Liverpool. Before moving to Liverpool from London, I worked at several universities in an international capacity, looking after international students in Oxford, teaching English at a university in Oaxaca, Mexico for four years, and cleaning skyscrapers in New Zealand, amongst other things! Most of my time is spent with my family, apart from rare occasions when I can escape to mess around on boats or catch some live music in the best city in the world for both!

Elizabeth is the Discovery Lead within the Research, Content and Discovery area of Libraries, Museums and Galleries, overseeing the discovery of both online and physical library collections. Her role involves supporting discovery innovation; leading and coordinating the development of discovery and content systems, with a particular focus on their usability and functionality.
Elizabeth's professional background is in content acquisition and management, having previously been responsible for Subscriptions and Acquisitions management, as well as content usage data and licencing. She has been responsible for the management of many Discovery interfaces, since implementing first-generation Metalib/SFX, through EDS, to ALMA/PRIMO. Her goal is to enable the effective discovery of LMG resources for the end user and facilitate effortless access to content.

I provide support for students coming to the University of Liverpool from or going on exchange visits to South Korea, as well as looking after all short term mobility opportunities. I graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2020 with a BA in Spanish and Linguistics Studies. Whilst at university, I worked abroad for a year as a teaching assistant in Spain, and made the most of several other travel opportunities as a student. After graduating, I have worked in a range of roles including the prison service and the NHS, before returning to the world of travel and education. In my spare time I enjoy all things music and singing, learning new things from books and podcasts, and long walks with the dog. Responsible for: South Korea and all summer programmes.

Jane is the Associate Director for Research, Content and Discovery Section within LMG. The role also requires Jane to coordinate the three distinct areas to provide access to physical and digital content and making the University's research outputs available openly. Jane is a member of the LMG Executive Group, where she contributes to the overall strategic direction of LMG.
Jane is a member of several national groups including, the Jisc Content Expert Group, the Jisc Content Learning Expert Group, the Research Libraries UK Content Strategy Network and the Research Libraries Open Strategy Network.

During my BA, I spent a year studying in Japan as an exchange student and have since lived and worked in Japan for four more years, continuing to develop my love of the language, food and culture (and singing J-Pop at karaoke)! As Head of Finance and Business Operations, Kayleigh is an affiliated member of the Executive Team and provides expert financial and policy advice within the group.
Kayleigh joined the University in December 2013, initially as a member of the Business Support Team. In 2015 she became Finance and Business Improvement Manager and since 2020 has been Head of Finance and Business Operations. Her team are responsible for Finance, Human Resources and overall support to Libraries, Museums & Galleries.
Prior to Liverpool, she was a data analyst and LEAN co-ordinator for a large insurance company, where she produced reports to aid with staffing continuity and drive process efficiencies across two sites.

Martin Wolf leads the University of Liverpool's Library Open Research Team. This team is responsible for our strategies and services in support of the university's shift towards the greater use of open research practices, including support for the management of research data, planning and deployment of resources to support open access publishing, and close liaison with other university departments on systems and processes for capturing and monitoring information on research outputs.
Martin has over two decades' experience of working in research libraries, having worked previously at Cardiff University and the University of Warwick. He is especially interested in helping support positive change in the scholarly publishing environment.

Nicola is responsible for leading the Museums & Galleries team at the University of Liverpool, which consists of two Accredited Museums: Victoria Gallery & Museum and Garstang Museum of Archaeology. Originally from the United States, I was born in California but grew up in colourful Colorado. My times abroad were very impactful and lead me to study a BA in International Studies with a Minor in French. After graduating, I worked for the study abroad programme Semester at Sea before moving to the UK. Throughout my studies and travels, I enjoy learning new languages and improving my proficiency. If I'm not traveling, you can also always find me at the cinema or catching up on the latest TV shows. I particularly love watching French films and period dramas. Professor Tim Jones took up post as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Liverpool on 1 January 2023. He moved from the University of Birmingham, where he was Provost and Vice-Principal from 2016. Previously, he held several senior leadership positions at the University of Warwick, including Interim Provost, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Science, Engineering and Medicine, and Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Knowledge Transfer and Business Engagement.
Tim is proud to be an alumnus of the University, having gained both his undergraduate degree and PhD at Liverpool. After spending nearly 17 years at Imperial College London, during which he took on several academic leadership roles, he moved to the Chemistry Department at Warwick as part of the University's strategic investment in advanced materials research. Tim's research interests are focused on the surface and thin film properties of a wide variety of advanced electronic materials, with applications in areas such as photovoltaics.
Tim is Chair of the Liverpool Health Partners Board and a member of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Business & Enterprise Board, the N8 Research Partnership, Liverpool Knowledge Quarter Board and Sciontec Board as well as a Director of the Russell Group and member of Universities UK.
Tim has previously undertaken several external roles connected with the research and innovation agenda, including being a Board member of organisations such as the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), the Welsh Science and Innovation Advisory Council, and the Alan Turing Institute. He has also been involved in several international reviews of research, including as Chair for the Academy of Finland's Research Profiling funding scheme.
