Welcome to the world of "Alkenrode". A special guest house has been created in an authentic farmhouse located in the hills of South Limburg, a district in the very south of the Netherlands. The guesthouse has been stylishly restored respecting the history of the farm. The use of a local stone called "Kunradersteen", old oak beams and clay gives this holiday home an authentic character while all luxury is available. We provide a large kitchen, a sauna, an antique bathtub, and a spacious living room with a wood burning stove. French doors give access to a large terrace with garden furniture. Would you like to beat your friends at petanque? That can be done on our "Petanque Court" in the shade of two very old cherry trees. Take a glass of Pastis and imagine yourself in France. And in the evening prepare a delicious meal using fresh herbs freshly picked from our herb garden. Feel welcome and at home. We will ensure that every need is fulfilled . Enjoy your stay….
