- CCP is dependent on volunteers to organise and put on all the events and activities in town. We are always looking for people to get involved not only at the events but also in the preparation and organisation of them. Or let us know if you have ideas for events that you would like to see in the town... Congleton Play Day is a family fun event and a great opportunity for children simply to play. Children, and adults, enjoyed playing giant board games, trying out circus skills and even hoolahooping. There were creative arts workshops and Ruby's Fund Sensitive Play mobile parked up in Town too. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out and most of whom ended up very wet!...
