The S3 Charity For Epilepsy was founded in 2013 by Jordan Stout and Andy Seawright. Since then the charity has raised over 10,000 dollars via fundraisers, grant applications, and other events. In November of 2014, members of the charity travelled to UCLA Medical Center to meet with Dr. Raman Sankar to donate a check for 10,000 dollars to fund an alternate treatment for epilepsy called ketosis. Ketosis is a diet that replaces the consumption of sugar with the consumption of various fats. Members of the charity continue to fundraise and help those in need. The S3 Charity mission is "to help lift the financial burdens and spirits of families affected by epilepsy."
