Billy Nebel, Bowie office Manager, joined PTSMC in March 2014. She is also the receptionist of the Bowie location. Mrs. Nebel has over 20 years of experience in the medical field and in efficiently handling the daily runnings of a PT office. "I have worked for PTSMC for over a year now and I am enjoying my time with the company. I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of PTSMC." Billy is originally from Texas and is married to Ronald. They have 2 children. Billy enjoys spending her free time with her family. She also enjoys reading and gardening.

Dr. Jonathan Stacey

Dr. Jonathan Stacey graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Rehab Science, and is the Clinic Director at the Olney office. He comes to PTSMC with a nearly sixteen-year history with the University of Maryland Rehab and Ortho Institute, treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological issues, ranging from spinal cord injuries and amputations to Guillain-Barré syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. He also is very experienced with wheelchair seating and positioning as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Jonathan is also skilled at assessing and treating spine and pelvis dysfunction and gait and balance issues. He is very passionate about his career and views his patients as family members, deserving of all the same care, compassion, and attention. He also enjoys teaching. Dr. Stacey is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, with many former interns now successful DPTs. He also served as an associate professor for several years at the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, his alma mater. Jonathan is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide the PTSMC clients with a high level of care and to work with a very skilled therapy team at the clinic serving the Olney community and the surrounding area. In his personal life, Dr. Stacey, a dad of five wonderful children, lives with his wife and family in Sykesville, MD. Raised in the small town of Massena, NY, Dr. Stacey has called Maryland home for over 25 years. Prior to attending grad school, he had a nearly ten-year career with Wal-Mart, where he honed his customer service skills, frequently recognized for this both there and in his previous career at the University of Maryland.

Emilia Kubera Shelton

Emilia Kubera-Shelton is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for outpatient care at the Bowie location of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her career at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Emilia has treated patients ages 5 to 95, utilizing the McKenzie Method and her advanced manual therapy skills to do so. She has a special interest in impairments of the foot, ankle, spine, and shoulders and has provided care for patients with a multitude of diagnoses including neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions. Her expertise also includes a focus on orthopedic conditions, debility, rehabilitation after surgeries as well as balance disorders, fall prevention, and chronic conditions. Outside of treating patients, Emilia loves teaching students and is a certified clinical instructor. She really loves her job and is looking forward to making long-lasting relationships with patients as well.

Leo Lara

Leo Lara is a seasoned marketing, sales, and new business development professional with 15 years of experience. For five years he has led his own small business, partnering with small healthcare organizations to increase their client base and expand their business brand. As the Marketing Director at PTSMC since 2013, Mr. Lara's concentration has been on building business to business and physician relationships while focusing on community awareness. Mr. Lara has also been actively involved with sports facilities focused on the health and well-being of children. He has had great success in leading health fairs and fitness projects including multiple health providers. Mr. Lara is an avid sports fan and a big movie buff.

Marying Castillo

Marying joined PTSMC in 2021 as the first Corporate Receptionist. She brings exceptional customer service experience and administrative support. She's eager to take on any tasks that come her way. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and likes going out.

Monica Medina

Monica Medina joined PTSMC in 2018 as a front desk coordinator. With 3 years of experience in the medical field, Monica displays great customer service skills, diligence, dedication, and professionalism characteristic of our team members. Monica was recently promoted to our billing division where she enjoys helping others while learning as much as she can. "Mama Bear" is what she is playfully known as around the office - always making sure that the plants are watered and everyone fed. "Working at PTSMC has been a great experience, I have learned a lot from my coworkers. Starting at the front desk and now in the billing department has helped me gain a great deal of knowledge. Being able to answer patients' questions and help them understand their plans/benefits is always gratifying. " During her spare time, Monica enjoys spending quality time with her son and daughter.

Ms. Yana Carr

Ms. Yana Carr studied Information Technology and has over 10 years of experience in investment banking and administration. As a part of the senior management team at PTSMC, she has transferred roles and is now the Executive Account Manager, working closely with the COO/CFO to assist him with major company accounts. Ms. Carr is also responsible for provider credentialing and company HR and payroll processing. Yana's dedication to the business and a positive patient experience, as well as her determination to have PTSMC remain the most successful out-patient facility in the area without sacrificing a professional staff, is what drives Ms. Carr and her team to keep taking PTSMC to the next level. Ms. Carr believes in leading by example and creating a work environment that encourages team-building and professional work ethic. Yana loves a good laugh and enjoys family time, traveling, cooking, and dancing.

Patience Nduka

Patience Nduka is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy who is dedicated to patient care at the Greenbelt location of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her physical therapy career in Nigeria, where she earned her Master's in physical therapy, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. After completing her internship program, Dr. Nduka practiced physical therapy for a few years in Nigeria, where she gained extensive experience in various settings including general orthopedics, and women's health through clinical rotation. In the United States of America, Dr. Nduka earned her doctorate in physical therapy at Dominican University, New York. She is also certified in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Ola Grimsby Institute and Women's Health. Dr. Nduka utilizes a unique approach that combines soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and scientific therapeutic exercise progression to identify and solve patients' problems from the root. Driven by passion and compassion for over 15 years, Dr. Nduka is privileged to help people who suffer from pain, dysfunction, injury, and disability return to optimal function and improved quality of life. Outside of treating patients, Dr. Nduka loves Christian music, dance, fitness, workouts, and church activities.

Reza Salehi

Reza joined PTSMC in January 2021 as an Accountant. He has an MBA in Finance and a bachelor's in accounting. He is also an Enrolled Agent (EA). Reza worked in a CPA firm from 2015 to 2018. He moved to the USA in late 2014. In his free time, he likes to work out and enjoy the outdoors.

Ryan Yeatman

Ryan Yeatman recently graduated from James Madison University with a BA in Marketing. With a background in social media, digital marketing, and business development, Ryan is now joining the PTSMC Marketing department as a Digital Marketing Specialist to broaden PTSMCs Digital outreach. He is working closely with the Digital Marketing VP in reaching the marketing goals for PTSMC. He loves making music, hanging out with friends, traveling, and spending time with his cats Woody and Ross.

SASAN N. CHALEZAMINI - CFO, COO

In 2011, Mr.Sasan Chalezamini accepted the position of Marketing Manager and joined the PT&SMC team with long experience in investment banking and real estate consulting. With over two decades of managing three locations of mortgage banking, processing & underwriting, he brought to PT&SMC a new version of management with innovative marketing ideas and quickly became the Chief Operating Officer of the company. Soon after, he expanded Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center patient care from one location to four thriving locations in Prince Georges and Montgomery county. His managing experience and skills and unlimited vision have made a notable difference in PT&SMC. Mr. Chalezamini's ultimate goal is to make PT&SMC the best out-patient physical therapy center in the DMV while creating worthwhile employment opportunities for the community. "Working with PTSMC, I have the privilege of seeing patients receive the care and attention they need from a practice of physical therapists and staff who truly care about their patients, where patients feel like it's their home away from home. " During his spare time, Mr. Chalezamini enjoys traveling, jogging, fishing, hunting, tennis, kickboxing, racquetball, working out, entertaining, as well as family activities and barbeques.
