Firstly, I'm a mom of two young girls, so the idea of financial freedom is very different from that of a single person. The end goal has to be a position that takes into consideration the costs of raising a family, along with saving for my girls' education and future... Secondly, I don't work anywhere near the financial industry. I'm a designer by trade and so I like to think in pictures. I hope to contribute in some small way, through my own research, experiments and mistakes, to a friendlier, simpler understanding of financial planning.
