Steve Hoedemaker is a third generation Seattle native whose education and travel have taken him around the world but he always finds his way back to life in the city and a farm in the San Juan Islands. Steve has an undergraduate degree from Vassar College and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Washington. His work explores the relationship between indoors and out, modern and vernacular, and the relationship of people to buildings, and buildings to site. Recent projects have taken him to Georgian Bay in Canada, Wyoming, Oregon, Massachusetts, and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Tim Pfeiffer is a Northwest native whose vision and passion have inspired him to explore the nature of storytelling through design and objects. His love for art, decor and furniture has evolved into a singular approach to design that develops meaning through the layering of objects. Having worked in San Francisco, New York, Europe, and Asia for families as well as major brands, his experience is as varied as it is unique. His work at Ralph Lauren led to the creation of its iconic signature and concept stores. As senior vice president of global design and development at Starbucks, he led the creation of a next generation store design which served to relaunch the company's retail stores worldwide. And working with the Rockwell group, Tim helped launch bespoke and branded restaurants, as well as the Shinola brand.
As a Midwest native with a lifelong passion for design, Todd Beyerlein's focus on the creation of innovative and carefully considered architecture has played a key role in Hoedemaker Pfeiffer's most monumental projects of the last decade. Todd's design philosophy centers on the idea that great architecture can reframe perspectives and change lives for the better. His award-winning projects place a high priority on site- sensitivity and the creation of varied, engaging experiences that move beyond the boundaries of the expected. Prior to making his way to the Pacific Northwest, Todd earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford as well as a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan. He joined Hoedemaker Pfeiffer in 2011, advanced to Partner in 2024, and holds professional accreditations in both architecture and sustainable construction.
