We act as agents for over twenty Canadian Chartered Bank and Trust Companies that are eligible to provide investments that qualify within the articles of incorporated condominiums. These banks and trust companies are all members of Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, CDIC, and are eligible to provide investments to the residents and corporations of Ontario. CDIC insures eligible deposits at each member institution up to a maximum of $100,000 (principal and interest combined) per depositor per insured category. They do not cover foreign currency deposits including US dollars. Eligible deposits include Term deposits, (such as Guaranteed Investment Certificates) with original terms to maturity of five years or less. Credit Unions are covered under Provincial Deposit Insurance. This insures eligible deposits at each member institution up to a maximum of $250,000 (principle and interest combined) for a term of up to five years per depositor per insured category...
