Foundational/Functional Health (or Medicine), for those who are new to the term, simply means looking at the root cause of disease, not treating the symptoms... I describe myself as a born independent thinker, awake, and conscious - refusing a tonsillectomy and vaccinations as a child because I couldn't see the rationale to removing organs without trying to heal them and taking prophylaxis medical injections because it never seemed natural to me. Due to my love of animals, nature, and what I learned from my Father as a child, I knew that survival and longevity was often dependent on the food one ate; the environment one resided in; and limiting or avoiding harmful man-made toxins, and that nature provides the key.
