Alastair studied Classics and French at Merton College, Oxford, graduating with a double first and a half Blue in lightweight rowing. Before teaching, he worked as a fund manager for Schroders in London. In 2004, he joined Eton College to teach Classics, where he also coached rowing for several years before becoming Head of the Fifth Form, Head of the Classics Department and a House Master. Alastair was Director of Studies at Harrow, with responsibility for academic strategy, the curriculum, teaching and learning, and the Heads of Subject. In September 2021, he became the new warden at St Edward's School, Oxford. He is married to Suzannah, and they have two young children, Mary and Lizzie.

Alexander Snow joined the Governing Board in 2016. He was educated at Harrow and at St Andrew's University, since when he has worked in several city institutions. John Sfakianakis has been a Governor of the school and a member of the Finance and General Purpose Committee since 2020. John was educated at the London School of Economics, Harvard and School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. John started his career with the World Bank in Washington D.C. followed by a long career in various financial institutions including Samba Financial Group, HSBC, Credit Agricole, Ashmore Group, and Societe General. In 2015, John joined the GRC as its Chief Economist and Head of Research. Latterly, he became a scholar at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge.

Hannah read Classics at Trinity College, Oxford as a Blakiston Exhibitioner. An alumna from Withington Girls' School in Manchester, she was also educated in Paris at Collège Lavoisier in Antony and at the Lycée International. She has been Head of Classics at The School of St Helen and St Katharine in Abingdon and taught at Winchester College after starting her teaching career at The King's School, Gloucester in 1995. In all these schools she coached rowing after doing university level coxing at Oxford.
She joined Harrow in 2018 from Somerville College, Oxford where she was a non-stipendiary lecturer, teaching Greek and Latin language and also New Testament Greek to undergraduates. She was made Master-in-Charge of Oxbridge and Scholars in 2019 and has also been responsible for Spear Harrow. As the Academic and Universities Director, Hannah has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of academic life at Harrow and coordinates the support given to Harrovians as they apply to university and prepare for life after Harrow.

Iliane invests in and mentors a number of early-stage women-led businesses, with a focus on sustainability and eCommerce and she is a regular panellist on development and sustainability.
Iliane chairs the Advisory Board of Been, an early stage business making products entirely from materials that would otherwise end up in landfill. She started her career at Procter & Gamble in brand management and was a Strategy consultant at Accenture before joining Yahoo! in Europe. She initially ran Marketing for the UK and then became eCommerce Business Development Director for Yahoo!Europe. Iliane was Business Development Director for the Diageo Venture group and later ran Strategic Alliances for the global business.
Iliane chairs the Advisory Board of the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford and sits on the Pitt Rivers Board of Visitors.
Iliane is a trustee of the David Lynch Foundation and is on the Advisory Board of the Lemon Tree Trust and the artisan non profit organisation Nest.
Iliane spent six years as a trustee of the International Rescue Committee Europe and she was a trustee of FilmAid International for nine years, setting up and chairing the UK board in that time and also helping to establish FilmAid Asia.
Iliane completed her undergraduate and post-graduate studies at Cape Town University. She speaks five languages. She is based near Oxford and has two boys, one has just left Summer Fields and her youngest is currently in Year 5.

Jeremy joined the Governing Board in 2014, chaired the Finance and General Purpose Committee between 2018-2022 and became Chairman of the Board in 2022.
He read Physical Geography at Reading University after leaving Radley College and holds an MBA from Oxford University's Saïd Business School. Jeremy is a Director of international law firm Withers LLP. His two sons were educated at Summer Fields.

Laurence joined Summer Fields in September 2008 as the school Librarian on a part-time basis, taking up the full-time position of Librarian and Archivist in 2011. Prior to this Laurence worked in the Library Resource Centre at Abingdon and Witney College.
Since joining the school, Laurence has been involved in a number of projects including, planning and implementing the new library now situated in New Room, curating the Summer Fields archive and more recently, creating the new archive room as well as implementing and developing the digital archive.
Laurence was also closely involved in the production of the 150 th anniversary publication - Summer Fields, The First 150 Years, contributing archive material and research documents. She continues to develop alumni relations, attending alumni events, contributing archive material and assisting those researching Old Summerfieldians.

Pam is a highly experienced education professional with experience covering a wide range of senior executive educational and commercial roles. This includes educational implementation for start-up schools, leading strategic development with established school groups, assessing potential partners, recruiting and supporting senior education leaders at executive, strategic and operational levels, leadership coaching and school review, accreditation and inspection.
Pam has a proven track record of success in working in multiple locations, with governments and within school/educational/commercial operations. Pam has significant expertise with K-12 schools and a specialism in early years learning, development and leadership and is widely experienced in both not for profit and profit-based schools, education groups and school start-up and marketing companies.
Philip is a Partner at BDB Pitmans and a member of The Law Society. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and shareholder issues. His commercial expertise covers agency, distribution, intellectual property licensing, franchising and technology agreements.
He has particular expertise in advising high-tech companies.

Roger Shaw is one of two Senior Masters at Radley College. His responsibilities include school policies and inspection preparation, the school database, timetable and website. He teaches Mathematics at all levels and has responsibility for overseeing Science, Information Technology and the Library. Previously he ran a boarding house and before that was Head of Mathematics at the King's School, Chester. He has also been in charge of Community Partnerships and has organised many projects in Romania and India.
