Darryl Rodrigues was admitted as a partner in 2006 and heads our Taxation and Business Services Division.
Specialising in the provision of accounting, business and high end taxation advice. Darryl has a varied portfolio of high wealth, family businesses and professional clients with whom he provides on-going year round advice.
He has a particular interest in business development consultancy and has assisted many clients into business and then counselled them in growing and expanding their business in line with their expectations.
Darryl provides assistance to our Superannuation clients with regards to year end compliance work.
Darryl is responsible for:
Preparation of Accounting Reports for all Entities;
Preparation of Taxation Returns for Entities and Individuals;
Detailed Taxation Planning and Tax Minimization Strategies;
Business Development Consultancy Advice;
Business Structuring and Planning;
SMSFs - Understanding and Applying the New Super Reforms effective as at 1st July 2017
Elizabeth joined the HTG team in 2006 and is the backbone of the administration department.
Her other major roles are Client Liaison and PA for the partners of the Firm.
Her extensive knowledge and skills enable her to assist in all areas of our busy office, and together with her strong work ethic, pleasant nature and client focus she is an important member of our team.
Hussain is well qualified to meet your accounting and tax requirements, having valuable experience in a variety of commercial and public accounting roles. His range of responsibilities includes:
Preparation of financial statements and taxation returns.
Preparing BAS, and reconciling GST, PAYG and ATO accounts.
Preparing taxation advice and business structuring.
Maintaining client financials on various accounting systems.
Corresponding with the ATO on client compliance issues.
Hussain's qualifications are backed up by a Masters of Commerce from the University of Queensland. He manages his time outside of work by fulfilling his passion as a cricket player.

Janet has been with the Firm for over 10 years, having worked in commerce for a mining company. During her time with us, Janet has grown our Superannuation Compliance Division. In particular, Janet services around 45 accounting and administration firms for the audit of their SMSF clients. This entails dealing with a wide range of SMSF compliance issues and working to resolve these issues.
Janet is experienced with SMSF trustee compliance obligations under the SIS Act and Regulations and can assist trustees with the following:
Understanding and applying the new Super Reforms effective as at 1st July 2017
Minimum and Maximum Pension Obligations
Contribution Caps
Understanding and Resolving any Breaches of the Legislation - Inclusive of Negotiating Enforceable Undertakings with the ATO
Liaising with the ATO during an Audit
Janet is responsible for special purpose financial reporting for SMSFs. She has advanced knowledge and experience with BGL Simple Fund 360, including the following:

Jenni was originally a Primary School Teacher and also worked part time managing the books for a small business. She has been with the company since 2009 and Jenni's is one of the first friendly faces you see, and voices you hear, when making contact with HTG Partners.
Apart from attending to reception and administration duties, she is also responsible for file preparation for the Audit team and management of our File Director e-document storage and retrieval system.

Kenneth joined HTG Partners in April 2021, and is our primary self-managed super fund ("SMSF") auditor.
He moved to Australia from Malaysia in 2016, with his family. In Malaysia Kenneth was engaged as the accountant for businesses involved in property development, IT distribution and construction projects.
Kenneth is responsible for the maintenance of our SMSF regulatory framework and compliance standards pursuant to the SIS Act.
Kenneth's intensive 4 years' experience in the SMSF sector means he has a sound grasp of complex compliance issues facing trustees of SMSF.

Lena is a valuable part of the team with roles that span accounting and tax responsibilities, as well as co-coordinating the work flow SMSF clients. Her previous experience includes the role of Custody Analyst for a well reputed company in Mauritius, her home country.

Maria joined the Firm in 2008 after working in retail for 15 years. She has also worked part-time bookkeeping for a family business.
Mimi comes with solid experience as a CA in business, having owned and managed her own wholesaling business, as well as holding key roles in the private sector and semi-government sector. Mimi's role at the Firm covers the administrative and accounting responsibilities as well as ensuring back office functions run smoothly and seamlessly.

Nicholas has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UWA.
He was employed as a graduate auditor with Stantons International and then transferred to EY.
While at EY he completed his post-graduate professional studies and is now a Chartered Accountant, with 5 years experience in the auditing & assurance field.
Nicholas commenced with HTG Partners in 2020, and is a vital team member in our busy audit division. He is involved with a full portfolio of audit clients ranging from self managed super funds, not-for-profit entities, companies and non-government schools.
Sandra joined HTG Partners in June 2021 after holding positions over the last 7 years in medium sized boutique accounting firms in Perth and Sydney.
Sandra is an important team member in our Business Services division where she manages a portfolio of small to medium sized entity clients, family businesses, micro business and personal tax return clients.

Tania leads our technical audit team as she has a thorough understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, the Corporations Act, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act, the Australian Stock Exchange Listing Rules and keeps abreast of developments in these areas. She oversees our audit methodology and processes to ensure a quality audit is delivered.

From its humble beginnings in 1984 HTG Partners now actively advises on all levels of accounting, audit and assurance, superannuation, taxation and business development.
HTG Partners founding partner, Timothy Turner, first commenced at Coopers & Lybrand in 1981. Wishing to commence his own Firm, Tim resigned in 1984 and became a partner with Sandhu & Borovac. This firm merged with a small East Perth Firm to become Hewitt & Co in 1989.

Vick Gelevitis has been a partner since 1995 and has over 30 years' experience in providing taxation, accounting and business advice to SME's.
His broad base of clients includes high net worth individuals, family businesses and a variety of small to medium enterprises.
Vick enjoys working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals while managing their business and taxation matters, by not only providing advice that is technically correct, but is also practical and provides guidance.
