HOBO NICKEL RINGS

These are modern hand engraved vintage nickels. The original Hobo Nickels were done many years ago and are extremely rare... Many years ago, a young man left his family home to travel, to find his country, to find himself. He never asked for a hand-out. He volunteered in hostels. He worked many places and jobs in his travels, coast to coast. Hitch-hiking was preferred to train-hopping, but a stationary boxcar was a good shelter to sleep in. He saw his country, he found himself. His memories harken back to the spirit of the Hobos of yesteryear. He was a Hobo in the early 1970's. He was me.
