Comes from an Agriculture Research background. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology, Manipur University and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture from Central Agricultural University, College of agriculture Imphal. Recently she completed her post graduation in Agriculture Economics from School of Agricultural Sciences and rural Development, Nagaland University. She has extensive on-ground technical research and market survey experience. She has submitted several academic research papers in peer reviewed journals.
