Matthias Voigt studied mathematics at Chemnitz University of Technology from 2004 to 2010. During this time he has spent time at the Moscow Aviation Institute in Russia, the University of Helsinki in Finland, and Forschungszentrum Jülich. Thereafter, he was doctoral student at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg and obtained his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Mathematics of the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg in 2015. During his doctoral studies he has also done a research visit at the Courant Insitute of Mathematical Sciences in New York. Between 2014 and 2021 he was research associate at Technische Universität Berlin before he took over a W3 substitute professorship at Universität Hamburg from 2019 to 2021. Since 2021, Matthias Voigt is assistant professor with tenure track at UniDistance Suisse.

Prof. Dr Renate Schubert is the Dean and Director of the BScEco course in the Faculty of Business and Economics. From 1992 to 2020, Professor Schubert taught Economics at ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). Her research encompasses, above all, analyses of behavioural economics in the fields of the environment and energy. Professor Schubert advises governments at home and abroad and has extensive experience in heading national and international research associations.
Bruno Pasquier is an associate professor of private law in the Faculty of Law at UniDistance Suisse.
He pursued his legal studies at the University of Fribourg, earning a Bachelor of Law in 2008 and a Master of Law in 2009. In 2011, he was admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Aargau. His doctoral thesis, focusing on the determination of damages by the judge under Article 42, Paragraph 2 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, was published in 2014. Following his experience as a lawyer at a Bern-based law firm, he conducted postdoctoral research in Hamburg and Berkeley, where he also obtained an LL.M. degree. In 2019, he successfully completed his habilitation at the University of Fribourg with a comprehensive study on contracts in bankruptcy. Throughout his academic journey, he has served as a lecturer at the School of Management of Fribourg, the Zurich University of Applied Science and the University of Fribourg. Furthermore, since 2021, he has been appointed as a deputy judge at the Fribourg Cantonal Court
