St. Joseph's Children's Centre evolved from St. Joseph's Orphanage on Quinpool Road March 1st, 1968. We are now a not-for profit centre focused on providing excellent, specialized childcare services to HRM... As St. Joseph's expanded our programs grew to include not only children attending pre-school, but also those requiring after-school care. Our programs have operated in several public schools such as Oxford Street School, St. Patrick's Alexandra School, St. Thomas Aquinas School, Morris Street School, Westmount School, Burton Ettinger School, and St. Mary's School. Over the years we expanded to include locations at the Quinpool Centre, Scotia Square, Bedford Commons and Clayton Park.
